Car Audio Installation Technician
Technical Certificate of Credit

Program Description

The Car Audio Installation technical certificate is designed to provide students with short-term training designed to prepare them for entry-level employment in the field of car audio installation as well as provide an entrance point for high school students into the electrical programs. Courses in this TCC provide both classroom and hands-on learning in the areas of safety, AC/DC circuits, solid state devices and installation and service practices in car audio installation.

Length of Program

A total of 16 credit hours is required for completion. 

Campus Location

The Car Audio Installation certificate is offered on the Ben Hill-Irwin and Coffee campuses, as well as area high school sites.

Entrance Requirements
Required Age: 16 years of age or older
Placement exam required.
